Lily Pollard is a former member of Troop 833 in the Girl Scouts of Nassau County and received her Gold Award in 2014.
Her Take Action Project, “The Scrapbook Connection,” was created to start a tradition at the Sunrise Day Camp, a camp for children who have cancer. Her project encouraged campers to create scrapbooks so they could connect with other children and their families and friends. Her project is now a camp tradition.
