Megan McLoughlin is a former member of Troop 1337 in the Girl Scouts of Nassau County and received her Gold Award in 2016.
Being an avid horse lover, her Gold Award on how to teach children to properly care for animals and recognize the signs of abuse. By developing a curriculum to present to campers in New York and at GLC Horse Haven Farm in Virginia, she hopes they will have a better understanding of the proper treatment of horses.
